ABOUT KIRSTY’S PLACE

Kirsty’s Place has offered high-quality day care at affordable rates to residents throughout the Fayetteville area since 2000. If your schedule requires you to entrust your little one to someone else’s care, whether for an hour or all day, remember Kirsty’s Place.

Our Vision Statement

Children are valued for their meaningful play; our staff members are valued for their passion, knowledge and commitment; and parents are valued as their child’s first advocate.

Our Mission Statement

Our mission is for each of us — parents, children and staff — to grow intellectually and emotionally where children feel nurtured and enjoy learning.

Elaine Mills: Our Leader

Elaine has been working with young children for 30+ years. She named our beloved center "Kirsty's Place" for her daughter Kirsty, whom she loves very dearly. Kirsty's Place is Elaine's pride and joy. Here are a few things she has to say about it:

"I cannot think of anything better to do than to spend my days with this amazing group of young professionals who nurture and love, play with, and laugh with, teach and train these precious new lives."

"KP is a happy environment for children AND staff."

Elaine spends her free time away from the center as a Master Gardener, crafting, enjoying time with her two grandchildren, and watching Jimmy Fallon.

Harmony Benedict: The Heart and Soul

Harmony has worked with Kirsty's Place for more than 10 years. She keeps up with the energy of the children with a bright smile and a ready laugh, always quick on her feet when she needs to be. Here are some of the things she has to say about Kirsty's Place and the children in the center:

"Kirsty's Place West is a warm welcoming quality program that works very hard to have children learn through play. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else!!"

"My favorite part about working with children is their unconditional love, their sense of humor, and seeing them grow."

When Harmony isn't playing pranks on her co-leader and friend Elaine, she loves spending time with her husband and daughter at home and reading books.
